i'm a single sister ( in usa) that has been baptized for 20 years.
i came from the world, so did not grow up in the truth and i have no family in the truth -- i am alone.. last year i met a brother & we did have premarital sex while we were dating.
Things to consider
The watchtower does not have a relationship with jehovah
Many churches have good or better people
Committees are inconsistent in fairness, everything from caring to harsh.
The original elders may have wondered in the back if their minds how they could get some themselves.
With no family in maybe just move on
If you are not a dedicated worker for the borg you will always be in the fringe

i once gave this book to a woman with kids at the door...to my shock my next visit she gave it back saying it was discusting and full of violence and sex!
this book was clearly written by some bethel loser with no kids.
i don't understand why witnesses don't have a separate kids school..

elder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).
he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.
co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.

Sex with a minor cannot be consensual. Using a position of trust or power crosses a line too.

it really is that brutal having your family and friends shun you that many unfortunately do actually take their own lives including steve letts nephew.. no wonder the drastic change in the elders book to not have any more judicial committees if suspected it would make them suicidal.. this is probably one of the largest changes in recent history that most rank and file don’t know about yet.. how it will work in practice i just don’t know.
what if someone keeps sinning but says it’s weakness not wickedness and they are suicidal?
I have seen suicide from the pressure to not get a good job, pioneer, don't marry, go to bethel.
the new direction in the new elders book is very clear.
absolutely no jd if there is a suspicion of suicidal thoughts.. this is obviously due to the high number of suicidal attempts after the announcement that someone is no longer a jw and the shunning that accompanied it.. so what will happen now going forward if situations arise where there would formerly have been a jd and they say there is suicidal thoughts?.
i can’t see it working, but elders stick rigidly to what it says in the book.
The book is a joke. Full of unrealistic scenarios and procedures. Some elders read at 6th grade, others are pompous asses. They will still put you on ignore somehow.
The vast majority uf elders think the congregation is there so they can have a title instead of they are there to aid the congregation. As for the borg they are parasites.
in this jw training video, an elder gets deleted because his daughter has "stumbled" other jw's by pursuing higher education.

I am stumbled by people claiming to be stumbled. I know oneelder who quiety finished his degree to keep his position at a university. I know 2 or 3 others who apparently never completed 6th grade grammar because of their mispronOUNciation of common words. (unconscience?)
